A Trap!

Now that you have been reunited with Thirak, you feel more confident. You decide to head back to the compound with Thirak and stop Korak once and for all. It takes you awhile to find the compound again, and when you do, it appears to be deserted.

"It's too quiet here..." you say to yourself.

Thirak nods in assent, then tries to freeze time to make things easier. Nothing happens. "They've got buffers set up to prevent me from controlling time. We'll have to be careful."

You follow Thirak cautiously through the dark hallway. A few minutes after you enter, you sense something odd and unconsiously glance downward. You are shocked to see a pitch-black shadow moving quickly up your body. The shadows move quickly up your torso as a shadowy tendril whips out and pins your arms to your sides. You cry out for Thirak but it is too late. The shadow is quickly dragging you down into the floor. The last thing you hear before you black out is the voice of Shadowfist, laughing.

When you awaken, you find you are once again strapped to the metal table from before. As before, you see Shadowfist and Freezerburn off to the side. Shadowfist seems pleased with himself. Korak walks around from behind the table and presses a button on the side, causing the table to rotate so you are hanging at an angle, almost vertically.

"What do you want from me?!" You cry out in desperation.

Korak presses a button on a small remote that he has pulled from his pocket. A large screen lowers from the ceiling. "When you were first transformed along with that idiot policeman and the fool who built the thing in the first place, all three of you were knocked into a bimbo-y stupor. Then my brother had to interfere, knocking all three of you out of it. But upon separating, the other two fell back into their stupor." The screen flickers on to show the 'schoolgirl' and 'ballerina' touching themselves. The image cuts out after just a couple seconds and retracts back into the ceiling.

"You, however, did not. Even when you were separated from Thirak, you still did not regress. That's why I had to use the serum. But I want to know why you did not regress." Korak turns and retrieves a syringe, which he uses to take a blood sample. He then places a helmet-like device on your head, which makes some whirring sounds as it scans your mind (you're not exactly sure how you know its doing this). After removing the device, Korak grins evilly. "If you won't succum to the mental effects, I guess I'll have to try something else." He presses a button on a control panel on the wall, and a large, menacing, cannon-like gun lowers from the ceiling and aims at your head. "This is a hypno-ray. I'm going to use it to alter your mind to something more in my favor."

"What are you going to do to me?" you ask, terrified.

"You'll just have to find that out yourself, won't you?" Korak replies evilly, and fires the ray.

As the ray hits, it feels like your brain is being crushed. You feel your mind go through a swirling vortex. You feel your mind being altered and when it clears, you have become...
