In the dusty Attic

You jump up and grab the pull string. Your petticoats float down around you when you fall. You pull the string and the panel opens. A wooden ladder slides down for you to climb up. You carefully begin climbing, finding some difficulty because of the platform shoes. The attic is dark, but you find a pull string for the light right at the top of the steps. The attic is actually quite large, and full of trunks and boxes. You climb up and wander around, finding old trunks of clothes, old photo albums, old toys, and a large full-length mirror covered in dust.

At the same time, there's an odd smell in the air. A pleasant scent of lilac seems to waft through the air. It doesn't seem to fit at all with the old dusty attic, but there's definitely the smell of fresh lilac.
