You settle

"M'Lady, you are a superb warrior!"

You don't feel special at all. You just want to keep on going. You tell the wizard, and you continue your path.

After the journey you reach a beautiful valley that has the most wonderful scenery.

"How do you like it?" the wizard asks.

"I love it!" you exclaim. You look at the wizard, thankful. "You never told me your name." you say.

"'Tis Gelroth, m'lady." he says.

Suddenly something urges you, your old male self fading, and you hug the wizard.

The wizard smiles. "Relax here, and I will build your home."

He heads into the valley. You watch as he does magic to cut down many trees at a time, cut them into planks, and before you know it theres a nice house sitting there.

Gelroth appears next to you. "Lets go." he says.

Soon you're in the bedroom, laying in a large bed with Gelroth close...warmth...you feel so good next to him. Your memories of manliness remain, but you seem to have lost your desire to remain male.

Within months you and Gelroth are married, which is odd, because wizards never marry. Gelroth works mainly in a dungeon, and you supervise the farms. Yes, farms. Soon after Gelroth had made your house, you had hired men to work the fields around your home. The fields produce a bountiful crop.

You think that indeed you have not followed fate. You haven't tried to persuade the courts, and you aren't involved with the "Dark One" even if your husband is. You don't know the whole prophecy. When reading a book, you come across this:

"The Dark One came, his blight reaching all over. Then came a woman, who was once a different form. She could fight like a giant and defeat many men. She with the man whose job forbade marriage Married they had a child. The child's form, altered, persuaded the courts to join against the dark one. In the end that child was killed, but his cause victorious."

You don't even think that you could possibly be reffered to in that prophecy.
