Up: Game 2  Up: Game 2 Outline

Back to where it all began!

"I guess first we need to get back to your place", you pant, tiring just from holding up your immense bulk. "After all, that's where he first injected me, and I guess where he changed you, right?"

"More or less", Fred pants, straining to turn toward the door, his belly dragging along the floor like an overstuffed sack of gelatine. "He got me from behind when you were turning into a weasel."

Going out the window, where Fred entered, is clearly no longer an option, so you wearily waddle your way out into the den, almost dragging a chair with you as you squeeze through the bedroom door.

Once in the den, you are faced with a quandary:

The front door will be the easiest to open, since the keys are still in the foyer. But since there's a step up from the den, you'll have to carry Fred, whose belly will never make it free of the ground long enough to get up there. In fact, you have serious doubts whether you can make it up there, given that you'll have to lift your leg against the pressure of your drooping apron of belly fat.

The back door, on the other overloaded paw, is on a level stretch. But since the simple latch was never very strong, you'll have to bend over and take the stick out of the sliding door's channel. In addition, there's another problem ... the sliding door doesn't open quite as wide as the front door.

Suddenly, you remember a third option ... a connecting door that leads to the garage! It's on a level stretch, and doesn't have anything tougher than a twisting latch on the knob. It's only as wide as any other interior door, but once through, you'll have the wide garage door to open and walk through. Your only real worry, other than getting stuck, is that reaching that door takes you past the kitchen ... and, though your belly is rumbling a bit, you really don't want to risk another feeding frenzy like the one that landed you with the original excess tonnage.

What do you do?
