Shut Up and Eat

No answer," you tell him. "No coherent answer, at least."

The wolf moans. "What am I going to do?" he asks himself, attempting to twiddle his thumbs but realizing that he no longer has any.

You put your hand on his shoulder and comfort him. "Why don't we go to the International House of Pancakes until we can figure this out? Nothing helps me think better than boysenberry syrup."

The wolf jumps for joy, and the two of you excitedly walk six blocks to the restaurant, where the wolf meets with refreshingly little prejudice. You explain to the waitress that he is not an ordinary wolf but a werewolf, and she asks whether he needs a booster seat. You order buttermilk pancakes, and the wolf, Fred, orders corned beef hash with poached eggs.
