Up: Game 2  Up: Game 2 Outline

Give the dog a bone

You open the bag and toss its contents over to the eager looking mongrel staring up at you from the garden path. You watch as the beast drools over the fresh meat, sniffing and scowling before scoffing it down with little or no effort at all.

Before you have a chance to realise whats happening, the wolf has finished his snack, and is upon you with bloodthirsty rage in his eyes.

You jump for the door, but you don't even make it half-way. Instead, you kiss the concrete pathway as you feel the heavy weight of the hairy monster on your back.

You feel a sharp pain in your neck. This is it!, you think to yourself ...

But just before its sharp teeth break your skin, it holds, then gently lets go. climbing off you, and walking backwards slowly.

The great beast bows its head in shame, its breathing slowing down ... and like a tap being turned off, the drooling ceases.

The wolf, looking at the ground, says quietly, "It gets worse and worse ... I must change back soon, or I will become a full wolf".

Too scared to move, you just stare, not really caring what its saying. You feel dreamy.

"I dont know what happens" says the wolf, "but after I taste fresh blood ... ", there is a long pause, and the night air seems to have droped a few degrees as those words roll out of the wolf's rather large jaws.
