The operator connects you before long, and the telephone rings just once. "Aha!" you think, as a voice breaks the silence.
"This is Fred Jacobsen," it announces. "I'm unable to come to the phone right now, but if you'll leave your name and a brief message, I'll get back to you as soon as is humanly possible."
You look down, frustrated, and see that the wolf is mouthing along silently with the recording. He knows it by heart.
