Mistake?

You know that if you don't shoot now that whatever it is could kill you. You shoot at the figure and a screech fills the air. You run to the fallen figure to check if it's alive. As you walk closer to it you realise it's your best friend. A scream comes from your throat and you cradle their fallen head as you hear police sirens in the background. As the police take you away, not believing the story about the wolf, you see a small grey squirrel.You swear it just winked at you and you go ballistic. Of course no one believed you and you now are in a mental institution for the rest of your life.
