Scarce Options

Separating from Albert, you head to the mall, heading to a clothing store where you can refresh your wardrobe. As soon as you walk in, you see... very little to choose from. A lot of the racks are empty, which is a strange sight to see in the middle of the day.

"Excuse me," you ask a clerk, "Is there a sale or something?"

The clerk looks unamused, "Ha ha, very funny. No, we've just been cleared out just like everyone else."

You recall people who had been carrying huge amounts of clothing bags. That's right, people are stocking up on things needlessly. You take a look at what is left. Searching a row, you find a few skinny jeans, you don't think they are your size, but you may as well try them on since your selection is so limited.

"Yeah, you may want to try huskies," says the clerk, watching you as you peruse the decimated store.

"What?" you say, feeling your paranoia rising and subconsciously feeling about your waist for any excess flesh..

"Huskies. The brand." says the clerk pointing to a different aisle.

You have to laugh to yourself as you try to stop yourself from crying just a bit. Of course, not a size reference at all. You walk over and find a few potential candidates and bring them to the changing room, telling yourself to stop jumping to conclusions.
