A 'light' meal

You get up the next morning. You feel sore and groggy from yesterday, and feel a little heartburn from all the pasta, sporting a bit of bloat from all the carbs, leaving your shirt a little tight. You head downstairs and go out to the garden, checking on the vegetables. Surprisingly, they look bigger then yesterday, and you guess that all those things you did are having an effect. You water everything, check of any slugs or insects, continue weeding and make sure everything is looking ok before heading back inside for breakfast.

Thinking of eating a bit more healthy, you take the fruit from the fruit bowl and make it into a fruit salad, butting some Greek yogurt on top and having that instead of pancakes or cereal. Even though this should feel like a light breakfast, it seems to sit heavy with you. You get up, thinking you can probably go out and join Albert at the gym. You climb the stairs, and start to feel winded, huffing as you get to the top and feeling weighted down. Geez you are out of shape. You go to your room prepared to get your gym bag together, but the bed looks so inviting...

You suddenly become aware of knocking on the door. You get up, still feeling groggy, and see you fell asleep on your bed. You open the door to Fred. "Hey," he says, 'you planning on getting up today?" he says. "Yeah sorry, must have dozed off for a sec," you say, then look at the clock, which shows it is 3 pm. "Yeah, you 'dozed' half the day away." says Fred. "Anyway, you must be starved, come down and have lunch, I got burgers."

You are surprised to have fallen asleep again. What surprises you more is you still feel tired. You follow Fred downstairs and sit down, taking a bite out of the burger, before realizing that you don't feel all too hungry for burger. It doesn't look all that appetizing, it looks heavy and covered in grease. You swallow. "No, offense Fred, but I don't feel all that hungry for burgers." you say, your stomach turning a little. "Ok," says Fred, "I was just offering."

You look around for something else, wanting something ight, as you still feel bloated. A salad might be nice. You look out at the garden and the ripe vegetables. Well, technically you don't need all of them to enter, so you can pick a few. Soon you are chowing down on a home grown salad. Even this, though feels heavy, and you are barely able to finish before feeling stuffed.

"Um, are you ok?" asks Fred, noticing you looking a bit sick. "I think I may be coming down with something," you say, letting out a belch. "I think I'm going to go lie down again." So you go upstairs, stopping to take some stomach medicine. Then you lay down on you bed and are out like a light.
