Growing Relationship

You decide to lay low for a while, you don't want to see Albert, and you know Fred will likely tell if you go to his house and lead to an unwanted confrontation. So you spend the next few days just helping Beth out with the shop. Albert stops by looking for you, but you let Beth know to tell him that she hadn't seen you, and you stop working the counter to avoid him if he stops in again, focusing on icing the donuts and cleaning the machines. You aren't as good as Beth at icing fine details, but you manage to get swirls and drizzles right. And a fun part of the situation is free donuts at the end of the day, as anything that would be day old would be thrown out, you are allowed your fill or anything left.

Beth brings you lunches and dinners, and you stray from salads every day for some normal faire. All in all, you are enjoying your time in the shop. Even more so, your relationship with Beth has grown closer. She doesn't judge you for your size, nor you hers, and she doesn't see you as a means to an end, like Albert. A couple of weeks, and you confess that you like her, and you two decide to start dating, though your situation is a bit different since you work together, but she is fine with it and says she won't pressure you into anything your not ready for.
