"Could you stop thinking about food?", Fred-the-wolf says plaintively. "I mean, if I knew what to do about this, I wouldn't have gone up to some stranger on his doorstep and asked for help, would I?"
"Okay, okay", you chitter back to him. "Sorry. Let me see if I can get a look at that doorknob."
"What's a doorknob got to do with anything?"
"Well", you reply as you look way up at the doorknob, "since I touched it just before I turned into a weasel, I figure there might be something there that could help us figure this out."
"And you think we'll be able to figure out what this whatever-it-is is?" You turn and see an exasperated look on Fred's wolfish muzzle.
