A Very Odd Play

You inform him that you're just here to see the play. He looks highly exasperated when a girl wearing a shawl comes by and enters the theatre. Whispers of 'you're late' and 'traffic' come up as they ignore both of you and enter the theatre. Seeing that they aren't barring you, you enter with your lupine companion and buy two tickets from the table up at the front. "Thank you", Luke grumbles as you both enter the dimly lit theatre.

You've already began to watch the play, known as Pippin, and realize it is a musical comedy. After a tap dancing scene involving a war and body parts being flung across the stage as well as simulated carnage, a head can be seen sitting at the edge of the stage. It starts to speak about going to Valhalla and how it's starting to get worried. It then gets kicked off the edge of the stage. You nod at Luke and start to creep up to the edge of the stage, hoping the bright lights will keep anyone from looking at you. You see the head on the floor, smiling merrily as two hands reach for it from backstage. With a diving leap that hurts the softer parts of your newly acquired female anatomy, you snag the head away and run out of the theatre, with Luke close behind you.

The head starts to move around exasperatedly, its mouth opening and closing with no sound emiting.

"I think he wants to say something," Luke says.
