"You want to know what it's like?," you ask with bitter sarcasm. "Here, let me show you!"
Faster than the human eye can follow, you leap forward and bite down on the policeman's hand, just hard enough to break the skin. The policeman scrambles to his feet, eyes wide with fear. He opens his mouth to speak, then stops and stares unbelievingly at his hand. The bleeding has already stopped, and tufts of dark fur are sprouting from the back of the bitten hand.
With grim satisfaction, you watch as fur spreads over the lawman's body and his nose stretches into a muzzle. Ears pointen, hands become paws, and a tail erupts from the base of his spine. His uniform stretches tight and then tears into shreds as his torso bulks with muscle.
"There!" you announce triumphantly as the transformation completes itself. "Now you know exactly what it's like! What do you think?"
