Suddenly you find yourself stuck in mid-pounce, totally unable to move!
"It seems that the ship's security system is working perfectly", the squirrel says. "It will probably take you a while to get used to your wolf instincts, however, so try to control yourself!"
The squirrel then pushes a button and you fall to the floor.
"Sorry", you say, "I just had the most incredible urge to eat you. I think I'm under control now, though."
"I guess I can't blame you. After all, you've only been a member of this team ... and that species, come to think of it ... for a few minutes. I 'll change form so you are no longer tempted to eat me." the squirrel says.
Just then he begins to glow slightly, growing to six feet tall. His fur rapidly recedes, his front legs extending out into arms and strong hands. His back legs grow very muscular and he stands up on them as his tail is sucked up into his body like spaghetti, his head slowly rounding out into a semi-human shape. Finally, his skin takes on a slightly greenish tinge and his eyes turn a deep red.
"There", he says, "That's much better. Oh, and by the way, you can call me Skynx."
Skynx then returns to his work, completely ignoring you again.
Well, what are you gonna do now?
