Just Wallowing In It!

More sweat stings your eyes, making your mind up for you. You take several ponderous steps back, into the doorway, then lumber forwards at top speed. When your flat foot thumps into the sand next to the pool you hurl your bulk into the air, gaining a surprisingly high altitude for someone of your gravity-loving proportions.

You weren't moving very fast, but your weight puts momentum firmly behind you. Almost in slow motion you sail up and over the water, seeming to float lighter than air, your plump arms outstretched gracefully. Then slowly, ponderously, you begin to plummet downwards towards the deep end, belly-down.

KER-SPLOSH!!

Even that doesn't do it justice. To get some idea of the real force of the impact, you need to shut your eyes and raise your head on the 'ker', rolling the 'r' for as long as possible, before forcing all the air from your lungs with the 'splosh', pouting your lips as much as possible whilst dramatically flinging your head downwards. The water rolls almost lazily out from under you in a great swell, and keeps on swelling to the edges of the pool, and far, far beyond. More water directly around you is thrown up in sheets, as if a stone the size of a truck has been dropped in the water from a great height. For a few moments it hangs in the air before splattering down on top of you.

At first, you just hang there, all air driven from your lungs by the force of your stomach slapping the water. Then a burning sting spreads all over the surface of your belly. 'Owww....' you croak, and roll a little onto your side to get a look around you. Soothing mud flows around your belly, cooling the sting. Soothing mud flows all around your body up to your buttocks, not quite covering your broad back or snout. Soothing mud covers the landscape, the walls, and some of the ceiling. What it does not cover is the shallow end of the pool, all the water and silt not forcibly ejected by your entrance having drained from it to fill the deep end around you. This takes surpisingly little of the ponds contents, your bulk raising the mud level quite dramatically.

You blink around at the devastated water.... bomb crater, is probably the best description, then just shrug and get back to relaxing. Actually, to your hippofied form, mud feels much more pleasant than water would have done. You grunt and squelch around happily, enjoying your glutinous ablutions to the full.

After a short while basking in the cool of the pool with the warm light on your back, you lazily flip over, exposing your belly to the warmth. Your eye casts around, glancing over the doorway. You jump a little, the doorway now being occupied by...
