Being watched

The demonic deer continues to stare at you, so you run back inside the castle. You don't dare look back.

The box that fell from the rafters is still there. You look up to notice some eyes in the darkness above you, staring as if ready to swoop down on you.

You see an old crumbling narrow staircase in the wall, and are just about to run for it when you realise there may be something important inside.
