Up: Game 3  Up: Game 3 Outline

The magic's not gone, after all.

You are interrupted by a strange scratching at the door. You go to open it, and the dogs bound into your room! You laugh and greet them, as Heather turns up her nose in disgust. You try to be peacemaker and introduce them, though. "Aw, Honey, these are my friends! This is . . . " and you realize you cannot convey their names in English. "Well, these are my friends, anyway. You can call this sort of blond one Alan."

"I won't be calling them anything, because they've got to go," pouts Heather. "Right now. Get them out."

"But Baby . . . " you begin, and the dogs start barking a bit differently.

"Ewww!" shouts Heather, and points. "They're . . . They're making you like them!" She is terrified.

"But that's impossible," you reassure her. "The magic was only for one night, and I . . . " you trail off as you notice your darkening, sharpening fingernails. Oh, boy.
