Gatecrashing

It's not hard to retrace your steps back to the court, your scent, though miniscule at the time still lingers in the halls. easily you recognize your human odor, eventually finding the locked door. You vaguely wonder weither the enchantment that allows court members to open it still includes you in its bindings. Then again, you don't really care. Lifting a foot, you slam it against the door with all your force. Eldrich energy sparks as the door seperates from its frameleaving a haze of glowing mist that slowly sisapates as the enchantment your just tore in half fizzles into nothing. The court beyond has gone silent as the creatures not immediatly suited for physical combat lay in wait. The Nixies in the pool duck down beneath the water in fear, while the harpies eye you with a cold caculatory gaze spiced with uncertianty. The imps seem to ignore everything and just run where ever, apparently too mindless to recognize the danger. The other creatures seem to huddle away from you into groups, apparently news of what happened has spread, and the entire court is afraid of what will happen next.

You ignore them, heading towards Morganna's quarters without giving them a second glance. You've already bested the worst Morganna could throw at you, and they know who's the boss now. Your claws clint on the polished stones of the halls at you enter into the room, the spark still glowing in it's lanturn. You cross over and pick it up, the metal bending slightly in your grip. By now you've gained enough control not to destroy everything you touch.

The forest beyond feels alluring. You don't know weither it is real or merely a glamour, but the shadows of the forest sing to you. It's very tempting, to simply leave it all and plunge into the depths.

"It's real, you know," comes a voice. By know you know Morganna's sound. While others may have been taken by surprise, you can now detect the almost invisible sounds Morganna makes. "This place isn't simly an illusion, it's a portal into the Fae Wild." She walks into the room, treading softly and at a distance. The tone in her voice has lost the arrogance, something almost sweet seems to have replaced it.

"Are you sure you want to risk becoming a snack so soon?" you say threateningly, not bothering to face her. At the same time you contemplate what she said. So this is the fae wild? The place the fae call home. The land of dreams. "I suppose you expect me to take off into it? Be lost in the endless forest? You'd like that, get rid of your mistakes all at once." Morganna says nothing, but looks into the wilds. "I don't think you understand what this is all about." she says simple after a moment of thought. "Let's see, war, power, ruling both courts, yeah, I think I know exactly what this is about." you retort. Morganna laughs softly. "I didn't think you'd understnd, give yourself a few thousand years and you'll find that those things don't really mean all that much in the grand scheme of things."

"Really, you don't say" you say, disinterest filling your tone, "I'll humour you then, what prey tell is this all about?"

Morgana looks you in the eyes and says...
