One Good Turn...

Despite your misgivings, you are touched by this pathetic spectacle. You edge back to the sniffling dragon and take a closer look.

Yup, his massive bulk looks pretty firmly stuck, there. You push gently against it, and are suprised at how soft it is. He should be able to squeeze through. After a couple of minutes work with your deft paws (and not a few ticklish laughs from the dragon), you've pulled his belly through a bit more. You then take his pudgy hands and pull.

His paunch stays wedged. You pull harder. "C'mon, suck it in!" you grunt. The dragon does so, and pops out like a cork, expanding visibly as he does so.

Still moving, he catches you off balance and crushes you against himself, obviously intent on squashing you to death. You're helpless against his soft, encompassing blubber.

"Stupid," you think, "never, NEVER trust something with teeth as big as your hand, er.. paw. Or eats as well as this guy must!"

After a while, you realise that you aren't in fact being eaten (just suffocating, instead) and you realise that the dragon's actually HUGGING you! The shock makes you stop struggling, and you catch what the dragon, oblivious to your plight, is saying.

"Thank you, thank you! I thought I was stuck there forever. You're such a pal!"

"Ummm, no problem." You say to his stomach in a muffled voice. "Er, WHO are you?"
