Easy fix

"Of course," says Max waving his had as if it was the simplest thing in the world. "I wouldn't do something like this if the effects couldn't be reversed." The room lets out a collective sigh of relief as each wolf relises that they will not be locked into bodies of flab for the rest of their lives. "Of course, that doesn't mean I have to give it up right now." he adds, leading to a unified moan. "Oh don't give me that," he says, "Maybe I'll just wait a few weeks and let the lesson sink in." At this point several wolves break out in complaints and whines, begging for Max to fix the issue.

"Max, you've had your fun," says the Alpha, though you can see he's chuckling at the sight of everyone reduced to a bunch of fat whining puppies, "As much as these guys deserve a kick in the tail, I can't have a pack of rolly polly lard buckets for much longer before some of the other tribes take notice." The gizzled old wolf gives an annoyed gruff growl, "You take all the fun out of it," he says, hobbling over to you. "What about you kid, it's you they tried to take it out on after all? Want to get a little payback before we let them off the hook?"

"With all do respect sir," you say to Max, "I want everyone back to normal, Cameron's probably got the worst of this and he's my friend." Max sighs, "Well, can't argue with that kind of loyalty." he says, disappointed that your not willing to play along with this any further. "So all you got to do is take the ring off. That'll turn everyone back to normal." You look at the ring, a bit surprised at the simplicity of the solution. His plan would have easily been ruined if you had just slipped it off at any point.
