Back at Home

While you were worried that people would be afraid of Fyrryn walking with you, you are actually surprised to see that no one finds it odd. You do get an occasional stare, but no one questions why a dragon is following a human around. You almost forget that Fyrryn was only called Scott just hours ago as you make your way home. When you arrive in the front door, you see that it has somehow changed on the inside. It's...huge! The ceilings go 50 feet up and the area is large enough to have you moving comforatbly in their when you become full dragon. You even see a small section for Fyrryn to rest and play. He roars happily and skips over to a large pile of what looks like...gold!?

Curious, you walk into your room. What you see is your room, exactly as it was before you left with Scott. You decide to try something out. You morph into your full dragon form and see that your bed has become a giant pile of gold. Shifing back, you see that it becomes a normal human bed again.

You walk back to the main room, where Fyrryn is fast asleep. You sit next to him and pet him while you think about your future. How will I feed him? What can he remember about him that's Scott? What will happen as we get older?

You decide to explore the rest of your transformed house, changing between your three forms to see how it changes with you. It seems that everything changes to accomodate your forms, even the bathrooms change to match yourself. You decide to have your first night as the anthro dragon. You change and go to bed, where you fall asleep on a matress comprised of feathers, springs, and gold.

You wake up in the morning to find that Fyrryn is standing right next to your bed. "Master, I'm hungry. Can we eat?" he asks. Of course, he doesn't say it in perfect English, but in the draconic roars of dragon speech.

"Of course, Fyrryn," you reply in English. Apparently, he understands English well enough, "what do we have to eat?"

"I'll check," Fyrryn replies and he scampers off, tail wagging excitedly. He really is playful.

You enter the kitchen to see Fyrryn trying to roast a large chunk of meat with his fire breath. When it lights, he lets it cook fully and serves most of it to you. You feel guilty about having him do the work, considering this dragon was once Scott, your neighbor, but he seems to enjoy working for you. While you eat at the table, Fyrryn seems content to eat on the floor.

"Fyrryn?" you ask hesitantly.

"Yes, Master?" Fyrryn asks back.

"Why do you serve me?"

"Why, Master, you raised me when I was young and you have been my best friend and master ever since."

You suddenly hear a crackling noise and you look to find a large Plasma Screen TV turning on in the kitchen. It's Dr. Zee!

"How are you doing Jake, or should I call you D'rengil?" He asks.

"Just call me Jake." you reply.

"Alright then. I just want you to know that we have found out how to rescue your father."

"You know where he is?" You ask, getting excited.

"Yes, if you come back to the lab we can debrief you on your mission. Take Fyrryn with you. Also, feel free to come in any form you like."

"I don't think Fyrryn will ever want to leave me," you reply, "I feel guilty for him, though..."

"You don't have to," said Zee, "He lives to help and serve you. He loves you and he would do anything for you.”

“I just don’t want him to get hurt…” you start.

“Get hurt!? Jake, Fyrryn is a dragon. He has plenty of his own abilities. That’s the other part to his transformation. He will do anything to protect you from harm.”

“I guess…” you say, “I guess if he wants to be a servant, I’ll let him. I’ll come back to the lab soon.”

“Excellent, see you soon!” Zee says and the TV goes blank.

“Fyrryn!” you call. Fyrryn comes rushing out of the other room. “Yes, Master?”

“We’re going to need to return the lab. Do you mind if I ride on your back there?” You ask, thinking how dumb you sound asking that.

“Oh, no problem, Master. Hop on!” Fyrryn replies, crouching down so that you climb on his back. Surprisingly, his scales don’t feel rough and his spikes don’t puncture or hurt. In fact, they feel very soft and very comfortable. You decide to have fun and turn into your half-dragon self, minus the wings. You head back for the lab.
