Finding Scott as Yoshi

You walk a short distance before seeing the street where you used to live on. You almost walk out into the open before remembering that many people would be freaked by a dinosaur entering their neighborhood, even if it was small and cute. You decide to sneak around the trees surrounding your neighborhood and find Scott's address. So you can understand English well enough, you just can't speak it.

You look up at the second-story window and...YES! Scott's up there on his computer. You look around quickly at the street and find no one in sight. Quickly, you dash out with amazing speed and jump onto the roof in front of Scott's window and tap the window.

Scott flinches, startled, and looks out his window and sees you. Slowly, he gets up and reaches for the lock. Hastily, you make motions that you want to come in. He seems to get the message and opens the window. You enter slowly so as to show that you won't harm him and look at him.

"Y=y-you're a Yoshi!" Scott says, looking astonished. "This can't be! How did you get here? Do Yoshis really exist?"

You spot a pad of paper and pen and grab them. It's a little awkward to hold a pen with only four fingers instead of five, but you manage to scribble down, "I'm Jake."

You hand the note to Scott, who takes it looking confused. Looking at the note he says, "I thought all your names were Yoshi."

Sighing, you point at the name "Jake", point at yourself, and then point out the window to your house.

"Hey that's where my friend J-" Scott stops suddenly and looks at you. "Are you...Jake?" He slowly asks.

You nod your head and jump with joy that he recognizes you. You write another note, "How long has it been since hide-n-seek?"

Scott reads the note. "It's been a few months. We thought you had died or something. Well, I didn't but...wow! My best friend is now a Yoshi. Hey, maybe you can stay with me! I can take care of you and you can live with us like a pet or something!"

Surprisingly, the thought of being someone's pet excites you even more and you gladly cheer out.

"Scott? What's that noise?" a voice calls from downstairs.

"Hey, Mom!" Scott says excitedly, "I've found a friend! Come here for a sec!"
