A Griffin in the stocks

Seeing some movement in the dark at the back of the cave, you investigate and discover what looks like a griffin with its paws and claws locked into a set of stocks.

"Who's there?" he groans. Seeing that you're a new face, he starts to beg you to free him.

"They're going to tickle me for fun, and my four feet are all very ticklish." he says, wriggling his toes and talons "Free me and I will help you, even give you the power of transformation!"
