Why did the chicken cross town - when the means of turning back were right there?

Standing outside your front door, you wonder how you're going to get in. Then you realize you should have stayed at the lab! You walked all that way for nothing!

The only thing you can do is walk all the way back. Your drmsticks are really going to be sore!
