Escape

You think quickly to yourself, and decide that you don't want to fight in a war.

Gathering several provisions, vittles, anything to last untill you're outside of the forest. You move everything into the bag you had brought before you entered the forest, and zipped it tight. Peeking around one of the tents you all the gaurds sitting at the north gate, making sure no one passes. Thinking to yourself you wonder how you're going to get past. The you get an idea.

Moving swiftly you run to the next tent. You look for a tent that has no one inside it, then dig up two rocks. Scraping them together as hard as you can you manage to start a fire on the tent. The fire grows rapidly and you run to cover. Your prediction becomes right; the gaurds seeing this rush to the tent to put out the fire.

You bolt for the gate swiftly and quietly, hoping nobody notices you. Once you've reached past the gate you run full sprint, dodging all the obstacles that are in your way. You look back to see if anybody has followed you, but to your fortune you have successfully escaped.

When you reach far enough from the camp you realize that it's almost night, and that you have been running for almost the whole day, so you stop to take a rest. You start a small campfire to make sure it doesn't give your position away. As you roast you dinner you wonder what your family will think of you, what civilization will think. Just then you here the meat pop, and see it burning. Quickly removing it you then put out the fire, then look for a soft patch of ground to sleep on.

After you wake up you hear some voices, ones you haven't heard before. Quickly packing up you look around to see where they are. Peeking around the tree you see two hunters, both with shotguns. You then bolt from your spot giving your position away.

*BANG*

There was a nearly missed shot by your head, followed by another. Scrambling behind a tree you wait for them to approach you. They split trying to flank you, heading around to where they think you are. Luckily they had guessed badly. Right as one of them pass by you, you give a nice blow to his stomach causing a reflex. Barely missing the shot you grab the gun from him and cock it, ready for his next move. The hunter then runs from scrambling to his partner. You listen to hear what he says.

"Let's get out of here! He's a monster!" He says before they both run off.

You lips suddenly turn to a frown, knowing now that you're a rejection from the world. You can only hope that your parents don't think the same.

Following from where they came you start down that path hoping it leads to civilization...
