Another Matter Altogether

Scott . . . uh, what exactly does he do, anyway?

He looks wet. Really wet. No, fuzzy. He falls over, sort of, but there is no bang or thud. He giggles, with his entire body. Something clearly is not right, but you cannot put your finger on it.

You extend a hand in order to lift him up, but he appears to have gone limp. You then grab him by the wrist, but it is too slippery. In fact, you never even feel his wrist, just the wetness all around it.

It is about then that you notice his hand about an inch apart from his wrist. You gasp, rub your eyes, and are relieved to see the hand and wrist once more connected. Is this an optical illusion? Of course not.

Scott has turned into a living liquid.
