Boss Battle: Chaos Abomination

Your attention is returned to the abomination called forth by the Detroyer. It gives a mighty draconic roar, causing you and Ray to brace for an attack, each of you dropping into defensive stances. The Beast charges at you, head held low. You adjust your stance so that your heads don't collide, and so that you're ready to vault over it and attack from behind. You quickly do so, stunning it and allowing Ray to throw a couple of good hits. You smirk at its cries of pain.

This thing might be fearsome, but it doesn't stand up so well against a pair of people who arent afraid to fight back. The Beast lashed out at you with it's tail and you saw that this wasn't such a good position after all. It knocks you off your now digitigrade legs, leaving you completely open for a finishing blow.

"Kid!" Ray yelled, smashing his fist into the beast's face, and then slamming down on its insectoid midsection, knocking the wind out of it. You manage to get up before the beast does. You raise your hand up, claws exposed, and swipe at the unarmored midsection before it can get up too. You knew how to take advantage of a dazed bosses weakness, thanks to all those video games you played.

The Beast gets up quickly after your devastating wound was dealt, and it quickly whirls on you, trying to slash at you with it's arms at such speeds you have a hard time blocking them. Thankfully, Ray comes to the rescue again, grabbing the beast's tail and pulling it away from you, before slaming it into the wall and floor several times. You wince. This is what tails do for you in a fight. Ray finally lets go with a seismic toss, throwing the Beast across the room, only to be splattered by the impact.

You wistled in awe. "Remind me never to get on your bad side!" You commented.
